I Had Some Stitches Put Into My Hand About A

I had some stitches put into my hand about a week ago, took a antibiotic for three days to stave off infection. It was good till yesterday, now starting to swell and ache a bit. Should I soak in saltwater or something? They said not to use topical antibiotics like neosporin on it, so not sure what to do to keep this from getting worse. Will call dr. tomorrow, but maybe I can do something tonight.
