I Had Stitches Removed Last Monday And Have Steri-strips. I

I had stitches removed last monday and have steri-strips. I have guk under the strips. Should I remove them and wash the best I can and apply new strips? I have no fever, and there is no redness. Smell is minimal and the site is not hot. I do have an appointment to see the wound care nurse on Tuesday. Should I wait to see her??? thanks
