I Had Surgery On My Left Leg Less Than Two

I had surgery on my left leg less than two weeks ago to clean out an inch deep wound that did not damage muscle or bone. The doctor took the stitches out yesterday, but I have had cold sweats, covered in hives and he said a hematoma at the back of my calf that is quite painful and not going away. He said my incision wasn't infected and told me I just had a cold. There is a red spot in the area that is hurt and it is bulging and hard. My doctor said it is nothing to worry about and will go away on its own, but the pain in my leg is getting worse in that area and now I am experiencing tingling. Is this normal?
