I Had Surgery On My Rotator Cuff 3 Years Ago,

I had surgery on my rotator cuff 3 years ago, ended up with frozen shoulder plus another full tear, the dr I'm seeing now wants me to go threw 6 months to a year with physical therapy before doing any surgery and with no pain meds. This just doesn't seem the right way to go. What do you think
