I Had Symptoms Of Aseptic Meningitis And Made It Through

I had symptoms of aseptic meningitis and made it through the difficult symptoms, which occurred lastnight - migraine, fatigue, nausea, sensitivity to light so bad that I couldn't open my eyes, and a low grade fever, body aches and chills. I would like to make an appt with my GP to dicuss my migraines, but to also understand what happened to me lastnight. Should I have gone to the ER? Should I bypass my GP and go straight to a Specialist, like a Neurologist?
