I Had The Shingles Shot Last Week And Have Had

I had the shingles shot last week and have had no problems at all. This afternoon (about 5 days after the injection) I have a large red rash in a circle at the site of the injection. It is itchy and I took one Benadryl. Also the palms of my hands itch and neck. Is this a pretty normal side affect? I am a 73 year old female.
