I Had To Get Stitches On The 28th Of Last

I had to get stitches on the 28th of last month & though I was told they would be fine & healed in a few weeks; it's taking a lot longer than i feel it should. this is my first time having gotten stitches and its just two very small cuts on my upper and lower left middle finger. The top cut I had to get four stitches and the lower only one. The lower one seems to be having the most issues even though the stitch is now out, the hole that the stitch left is angry, not really red but leaking puss and slightly puffy. My stitches are "dissolvable". My partner thinks that my lower finger is angry because I had bandaids on it for a while and got it wet (I wear a latex glove when I shower though and wrap it with tape but water still gets in). The lower cut is healed, the issue is the hole that the stitche left and thats frustrating to me because I didn't feel that the bottom cut needed stitches. The top cut is looking much better, two of the stitches are out and I'm sure the othe two would come out with just a little trying on my part but I didn't want to mess with it when the lower part is acting up so much (one thing at a time). The skin around the lower "hole" is harder than normal and a little puffy. I guess my question is what should i do? My partner thinks that I should leave it alone for a few days and let it air out and see if it sorts itself out; if it doesn't then to go to the doctors again. I'm now holding a tissue to it lightly as its started to bleed slight;ly.
