I Had Trigger Finger On One Hand And Tried Several

I had trigger finger on one hand and tried several things to cure it but ended p needing a cortisone shot. Weeks later my thumb and pointer finger of my other hand locked up too. There is a strong family history of rhuematoid artheriti but so far all blood tests have come out negative. Do you think it might be an underlying concern?
