I Had Tubes Put In My Ears Last Friday. Im

I had tubes put in my ears last Friday. Im 58, had on going ear infections for the last few years. they had to make a double incision because my ear is thicker than normal. Im hearing echoing and today Im feeling a bit of pain. Doctor gave me a follow up for month after. No instuctions on what if or this may happen. A bit concerned. Is this normal?
