I Had Two Back Teeth Pulled Yesterday And When I

I had two back teeth pulled yesterday and when I woke up this morning my lingual franulum was swollen, also was worst on the left side (side I had the teeth removed)...I took allergy meds earlier n seemed to calm it down a bit but after napping a bit ago I woke up n it's worst now...dentist said ill probably have some bone slivers but what caused this and what can I do to get ride of swelling. I'm producing saliva so I don't understand what caused it...it's to late to go see dentist and doctor can't see me until next week. Help???? :(
