I Had Very Swollen Tonsils About 12 Weeks Ago. White

I had very swollen tonsils about 12 weeks ago. White and yellow patches covering them. The strep came back negative on the rapid test as well as the culture. The amoxicillin did suppress the symptoms during the 10 days however it's been two days since I finished, the swelling and pain came back. Yellow patches only this time and there's a dark almost black dot. I'm a little worried
