I Had What I Thought Was A Stye On My

I had what I thought was a stye on my eye about five days ago. I was treating the sky with a hot compress at night before bed. I woke up this morning and there is purple and pink discoloration along the eyelash line as well as throughout the crease of my eye. Can you please provide some possible conditions this may be?
