I Hadmy Tonsils Removed 3 Weeks Ago, About Two Weeks

I hadmy tonsils removed 3 weeks ago, about two weeks after the oporation my tonsils were nearly fully clear ofthe white healing ttissue, but I noticed two days ago I have what looks like lots of red spots where my tonsils were and are also surrounded by white gunk, could someone please help with what may be happenInv as I have a week to wait until my doctors appointment, thank you
