I Hate Talking To My Doctor About My Period. My

I hate talking to my doctor about my period. My doctor is male. It's awkward I find it. I hate going to the doctors for anything now. I went last week Monday as I was sick. And again I found it awkward. So I will ask you! Is it normal to not start on a set date every month? Mines start wenever it wants
