I havae an 87 year old mother who is a cancer surviver. She had a bout with pneumonia about 2 months ago and fell, hitting her chin on the dining room table. For the past month she has been experiencing facial pain along her right jaw line. A local doctor diagnosed neuraligia and has tried a few different muscle relaxer meds in low dose. All of them have had a negative impact on mom - the last one causing her to sleep for a full day and a half. I am wondering if there are less potent options to consider for ay mom?
