I Have 3 Months Cough Now. For The First And

I have 3 months cough now. For the first and a half month I took medicines because the phlegm was the worst and I have runny nose. Oh well, I stopped after that and continued without medicines. Is it okay? Right now, every time I cough I can taste blood or it taste like metal rust. And from time to time, I have this never ending series of coughing, it's itchy.
