I Have Been Taking Clonazepam Everyday Now For 5 Years

I have Been Taking Clonazepam everyday now for 5 years twice a day, I am trying to quit I went from 2 mg to 1 mg in one day a few months ago and I am wondering if it is okay to take .25 mg to stop the withdrawal side effects and anxiety I am experiencing from the taper?
