I Have CIDP. I Began Taking Celexa On May 9,

I have CIDP. I began taking Celexa on May 9, 2016 for depression. May 13, 2016 was the onset of symptoms of an acute attack of Guillain Barre Syndrome. I went through 10 treatments of plasmaphoresis (between 5/17 and 5/23), but had very little improvement. The partial paralysis persisted. I stopped taking Celexa (on 5/31/16) and had two IVIG treatments (6/14/16 and 6/15/16), then the paralysis started going away. I suspect that Celexa caused the onset of the acute symptoms, and that it was not GBS at all. I think that's the reason the plasmaphoresis wasn't effective. Theresa in Phoenix, AZ
