I Have ChiarI Malformation 1 (non Surgical Candidate) And Currently

I have ChiarI malformation 1 (non surgical candidate) and currently being evaluated for possible MS. Recently my occipital neuralgia has been off the chain and my migraines have been terrible. Today I notice a ridge has developed on the top of my head. Center, about 2 inches long and my skull in tender. Is this typical of chiari? Can chiari cause demylination?
