I Have Epilepsy And Have Been Proscribed Divalproex Two 500

I have Epilepsy and have been proscribed divalproex two 500 MG tablets, and aption one 800 MG tablet at bed time. Is it OK to be taking both at the same time? Epilepsy is whecking my life. I have been told it was brought onby a very serious head injury about 15 years ago and I have been suffering from this for the last five years, seems to be getting worse. Paul
