I have Epstein Barr, my titres, indicate that I have had several infections prior to my current episode. It has been many years since I have had mono, but I recently had a family crisis that required more, physically, than I have done in years, also...
My question is, I present with oral pustules (can't really misdiagnosed, LOL) and I have VERY swollen lymph nodes. It has been almost 2 weeks, and the excessive sleeping has been helping, in that the pus pockets on my tongue have moved further back, but last night I drooled quite a bit of diluted bloody ick! No new fever, or additional symptoms, but scary, nonetheless. My new insurance kicks in Nov. 1, but I can go to the ER, if needed. Obviously my throat hurts, but it is more a feeling of something in there, than actual pain...My primary physician abruptly left her practice, leaving us all in a lurch! Otherwise, I'd have called her...
