I Have Gaven Blood At Least 4 Times In My

I have Gaven blood at least 4 times in my life, but the last time I gave the guy ended up blowing out my vein and still to this day my arm is still sore its been about 8 or so months. I'm wondering is this normal? Or should I go get my arm checked out.
