I Have Hashimoto's Thyroiditis And Have Recently Been Gluten Free

I have Hashimoto's thyroiditis and have recently been gluten free to see if it helps. Yesterday I had pizza at a friend's birthday party and later that afternoon I was very dizzy. The vertigo has continued on all day. Is it coincidence or could the gluten have brought on the vertigo.
