I Have Hep C, High Blood Pressure, Type II Diabetes

I have Hep C, high blood pressure, type II diabetes and suffer from kidney and liver damage. I take injectable Novalog and Lantus to treat my BG levels with limited success. Are there any alternatives, and if I continue with insulin, what are the possible side effects? I ask this because I am uninsurable and my only option is my VA doctors. As you know they do the best they can but are burdened with an increasingly overloaded patient load and limited funding.
