I Have High Blood Pressure Am Diabetic Type II 65

I have High Blood Pressure am Diabetic type II 65 years ifn age and i live at a altitude of 8500 ft in Colorado. My last BP readings were high 174/83 HR 78, 187/90 HR 85, 143/84 HR 76, 155/88 HR 90
142/75 HR 94, all within 48 hrs random reads. I walk each morning 1 1/2 miles i do seem to have shortness of breath at times , some diarrhea and admittedly have recently had high sodium in my diet 500mg or so each day. Need I be concerned? My BP has been under control up to now. Is this temporary due to high salt in my diet or am I not designed to live in a high altitude environment? Thank-you!
