I Have I Believe Generalized Anxiety Disorder Since I Was

I have I believe Generalized Anxiety Disorder since I was about 30 years old. I am 68 now and the
physician has me on Valium, which seems to help significantly. However, he wants to eliminate the drug.
In the past I have been to a psychiatrist for a year and he tried 6 different anti-depressants for a 2
month period each. None seemed to help like the diazepam. I get anxious about life situations. I don't
want to but I don't seem to be able to relax. This does run in my family with my twin brother, mother and
grandmother. What is your recommendation.
