I Have MS And Am Having Either An Exacerbation, Or

I have MS and am having either an exacerbation, or I've got a bulging disc at C6 C7. My thumb, index and middle finger are numb and I have shooting pain that travels in my shoulder, forearm to hand. It gets worse when I move my neck a certain way. What I'm wondering is if having an cervical epidural steroid injection is contra-indicated for MS symptoms (say its not a bulging disc, but rather, an active lesion on my C spine).
