"I Have Medullary Sponge Kidneys. I'm Concerned With The Cortical

"I have Medullary sponge kidneys. I'm concerned with the cortical thinning of both kidneys. I was told it is 8mm. The usn tech showed me a normal kidney and mine was far with looking normal. It was lite up like a Christmas tree from the MSK. Also of course it showed the nephrocalcinosis. Labs are still normal but still waiting on the vitamin D labs to come back. What are your thoughts on the cortical thinning? What does my future hold? I am 37yrs old
