I Have Osteoporosis And My T-score Is -2.5 And My

I have Osteoporosis and my T-score is -2.5 and my Z-score is -1.4. I currently take 70 mg of Alendronate,-once a week, I also have Rheumatoid Arthritis and take 10mg daily. I have normally been very healthy and this is my first experience with this type of issues. How do I know if I'm taking the right meds. I know I should have more confidence in my Dr's but they are hard to talk to my general physician is very busy and my RA Dr. I have a hard time understanding. Any suggestions? should I be asking for any other tests or different type of meds?
