I Have Palpitations From Multiple Heart Beats,one In My Auricle

I have Palpitations from multiple heart beats,one in my auricle and one in my ventricle. The doctor at Kaiser called it PCP.I had a friend that had this and they did a 4 1/2 hour surgery on him and now he's fine he told me he had the same thing 4 yrs ago. he is fine now. They tell me I have PCP's and he had SVT or supraventriclur tachycardia and their is sugery for that and not mine. the two are a mystery to me can you send me some literature on them? I am losing this battle it gets worse all the time, whats going to happen to me? I am told that, "they will just go away." I don't do much anymore and losing this battle. Help me with answers. Is this the truth or can I have a 4 1/2 hour sugery they can burn them out like he said that they did for him and now he's fine.
