I Have Primary Addisons. I Take 5mg Of Predisone Daily.

I have Primary Addisons. I take 5mg of predisone daily. Last year i had been dignosed with ITP and was on 60mg of predisone as part of the treatment. When i was on that high of a dose i felt great. I never felt that good in years. As they slowly tappered me down back to my 5mg i started losing the extra engery and feeling good from the higher dose. My question is, Is it normal to feel so great on the higher dose of predisone for someone with addisons and could it been a sign that maybe i need take a higher amount daily? Even when i take 10mg as a stress dose i feel better.
