I Have Transverse Myelitis Which Showed Up 3 Days After

I have Transverse Myelitis which showed up 3 days after my flu shot - only flu shot I had ever taken and it has been 13 months since this happened. I am 62 years old. I cannot find anyone to help or understand the symptoms - as in neurologist, etc. It is almost as if I am being dismissed. MS has been ruled out. My symptoms seem to be almost text book. Any ideas on how I could find help in my area (Charlotte, NC) as I am weary. I have exhausted everything I know to do to find local help. I am not in a financial position to travel for care.
