I Have A 2x3 Cm Branch Duct IPMN That's Followed

I have a 2x3 cm branch duct IPMN that's followed by alternating EUS and MRI every 6 months. Today I had an EUS and they also found a "small spot" on my pancreas. They said they'll follow up with MRIs. My father died of adenocarcinoma. Lots of cancer in the family, but no pancreatic cancer that I know of. Should I be concerned about the spot?
