I Have A 5month Old Calf That Has A Lump

I have a 5month old calf that has a lump (very solid) in his throat a little bigger than a golf ball, it is 2/3 the way up his neck (closer to his head) he is not off on his feed or water, and his breathing he seems to take air in through his nose but out his mouth. Thought he he might have something stuck in his throat and became infected but he' eating well, did start him on durapin (pinicillin) just in case it is an infection. any thoughts?
