I Have A Sudanese Brewery Worker Who Has Had The

I have a Sudanese brewery worker who has had the nail on his middle finger peeling after he wears a glove for a period of time. He has swelling but no redness at the base of the nail and the nail itself is bumpy. None of the other nails are similarly affected. There does not appear to be an acute infection but could there be an underlying fungal or bacterial infection?
