I Have A Area On My Upper Left Shoulder Area

I have a area on my upper left shoulder area of my back that feels like a rough orange peel skin. It is not red or and you really can't see anything unless you really look close but you can definitely feel it. It is about the size of a playing card laying east to west. I have had it about a month and have not changed anything different in my routine and this is the only place I have it. It doesn't itch very often but does occasionally.
