I Have A Boil On My Leg. I Noticed Yesterday

I have a boil on my leg. I noticed yesterday for the first time it looked like a small pustule. Today it was raised, red in circle 2 finger tips wide out from the head. I lanced it and sqeezed out a clear liquid with a bit of blood in it, until most of the raised bits were gone. Now my legs is so sore and throbbing, it hurts to walk more than to sit with it up. I have a plaster to absorb more puss, with some antibiotic cream. What can I do to help it?
