I Have A Bump On My Middle Toe In Between

I have a bump on my middle toe in between the nail and first joint. It looked to have come to a head but nothing happened when I squeezed it. Over the past few days I decided to puncture it with a needle and nothing happened. Then today I squeezed it again because it had really puffed up. A clear oily like gel came out. I was totally shocked. What in the world??
