I Have A Child With Mild Spastic Diplegia That Effects

I have a child with mild spastic diplegia that effects her feet, I was wondering if an operation was performed to fix this will her feet go back to the pre operation overtime? I'm trying to work out if it's her brain telling her feet to stay like that or tendons? Does periventricular leukomalicia continue telling the feet not to straighten even after surgery? Thank you for you're time
