I Have A Chronic Wheeze In My Throat By My

I have a chronic wheeze in my throat by my larynx and pharynx. It's not too uncomfortable but I can't sleep no matter what I do. I'm exhausted all of the time because all I seem to do is try to manipulate the mucus to the point where it will quiet down. My lungs are clear. Asthma meds don't help. My doc wants me to do a sleep study but it doesn't make sense if I can't sleep. I miss about 2 to 4 hrs a night. thanks
