I Have A Cold Sore. I Was Prescribe Valacycolvir. I

I have a cold sore.
I was prescribe Valacycolvir.
I took the recommended 2 pills the first dose and 2 12 hours later, then 1 pill, twice a day for 3 days. Tonight being my last dose. Yes, as stated in this site it was a late start on the onset of the sore, my sore is still a little active.
My question is believing this is all I should do at this time???
