I Have A Cyst I Think You Would Call It,

I have a cyst I think you would call it, it is like a hard pimple that does not head. My doctor sent me to an ear nose and throat dr who is sending me to someone who will remove it, should I have that done? They said not to poke at it or it could get infected so I haven't and it's getting a bit smaller.
