I Have A Daughter On The Spectrum. She Is High-functioning.

I have a daughter on the Spectrum. She is high-functioning. She also is on an Intellectual Disability Waiver - IQ 75. But lately, her anxiety is out-of-control. Worrying about things at night, can't sleep a full night, hearing sounds, etc.. We have started Zoloft 8 weeks ago and it hasn't helped. She is complaining 1/2 hour after taking it of "burning up". Now they want to add Risperdone and I'm not comfortable with that. Is it a normal med used with ASD kiddos?
