I Have A Deep Burgendy/red Color At The Bottem Of

I have a deep burgendy/red color at the bottem of my mouth where my gum meets my lip. It is concerning becuase it is tender to touch and doesnt look normal to me. I havent noticed before, but i havent been pulling my lip down to look before today. Should i be concerned or go to a doctor? Thanks
