I Have A Dent Between The Metatarsals Of My Pointer

I have a dent between the metatarsals of my pointer and middle fingers close to the wrist. I just noticed it, so it doesn't hurt or anything. This is only on one hand, and comparing the two, it feels like the two metatarsals are connected as I move away from the wrist. Also, when i move either finger, the other one moves with it, unlike my other hand. Is it possible that it's "fused" together?
