I Have A Discolored Tongue (2 Brownish Streaks On Each

I have a discolored tongue (2 brownish streaks on each side and cream colored in the middle). This has been going on for months. I brush it daily and brown color comes out on my tooth brush. I brush my teeth and rinse twice daily. Have a dental appointment coming up in several weeks. Ant thoughts on what this might be?
