I Have A Dry Nose,dry Cough, Sore Throat And, Excess

I have a dry nose,dry cough, sore throat and, excess saliva when I'm sleeping. Why do I have excess saliva like I have a water just pooling in my mouth at night? I woke up with this because the dry cough had me gagging. My head was hurt and a little dizziness yesterday.
