I Have A Feeling On One Side Of My Tongue

I have a feeling on one side of my tongue or mouth that something is there, like a piece of food feels stuck some time. It sometimes feels as if it is blocking one side of my throat. I don't see anything unusual in my mouth or on my tongue. Wondering if it could have something to do with my left ear where I had a problem of fluid build up years ago.? Thanks.
