I Have A Fever Of Unknown Origin. It Started The

I have a fever of unknown origin. It started the night before last at bedtime with chills and fever of 103. No other symptoms. Went to an immediate care facility and they ruled out influenza and pneumonia. They also did a CBC and told me the results did not point to "serious" infection. I'm waiting for results from a broader test panel of viral infections (nose swab) and urine culture. My wife and I are displaying the same symptoms. We're taking acetaminophen (400mg) or ibuprofen (500mg) every 3 hours to control the fever and that's working well, bringing it down to 98.6 and sometimes lower. I forgot to mention at the clinic we have a hot tub. I'm wondering if this could be a bacterial infection. What are the chances I contracted a bacterial infection from said hot tub?
