I Have A Few Pills Left From A Prescription That

I have a few pills left from a prescription that was filled in August of 2017 of tramadol NFL 50 MG. Dosage take two by mouth every twelve hours as needed. I have a broken tooth that is painful and am not able to get to a dentist right away. My husband is having a stent procedure tomorrow so I will be at the hospital with him all day. Would this prescription be something I could take for this tooth pain and would it still be good.
